People often ask me about the broodstock Atlantic salmon in the Pemigewasset River in Bristol, Franklin and Concord. Here are some pictures and videos of the river and the fish. You will not find a prettier stretch of river in New Hampshire. |

This is a video I took in Fall 2004. Jim and I fished the Pemi until mid-November and caught a lot of fish. I was trying to land a (big) fish with one hand and operate the camera with the other. I lost 3 or 4 fish before capturing both the fish and the experience. |

In addition to salmon, we also get some nice rainbows. This one was almost 18 inches. Note the Moose River Special streamer in its mouth. |
This is a real bruiser of a salmon. It was at least 7or 8 pounds, maybe more. |
